I began my foray into the Naruto fandom last 2007 through an SxN fanart. I've been wondering what SxN meant, only to realize much later that it meant Sasu(ke)xNaru(to).
While the idea of pairing the two (and guys at that) initially appalled me, I had been fascinated, nonetheless. More so when I began reading fanfictions about the two. I admired a lot, been weirded out by some, and annoyed by others. Some of the best stories I've read were a bit grammatically-off, though, which inspired me to become a beta reader.
I joined FF.net on July 4, 2008 to become a beta reader, only to learn that I can be one after a month's time - and after I had a word count of 6,000 words under my belt. Needless to say, I was pissed.
Story ideas started buzzing in my head until I heeded my muse and wrote some of them down. After much procrastination, I uploaded my first SasuNaru/NaruSasu fic, Where I Belong, on August 7, 2008.
Since then, I've been writing fanfics for the fandom with the pairings SasuNaru/NaruSasu, NejiTen, and my (not-so) guilty pleasure, SasuFem!Naru. I beta'd once in a while until I decided to stop because of RL interrupting. I still beta for my friend Pebbles, but that's about it.
My top three favorites since 2000 are Uchiha Itachi, Hyuuga Neji, and Sabaku no Gaara. Honorable mentions include Yamanaka Ino, Tenten, Uzumaki Naruto, and Sai.
I'm very much alive and kicking, but I'd be later in my updates than before. Real Life has this evil habit of intruding.
